Jip is returning.

I kinda stopped doing it. I can tell you why in two words: Anita Sarkeesian.
Well, not her personally, but still. I was becoming more and more aware of the amount of sexist portrayals of women in various entertainment media, and was very aware that the female characters in Jip aren't pleasant at all. I felt it probably too sexist to continue. And things like Sarkeesian's "Tropes vs..." series don't help much -- they do highlight a lot of problems with character archetypes but don't offer very much at all in the way of solutions to these problems, or examples of how to do it better.
Jip is flawed in this respect, but not entirely: there are two unpleasant female characters, but three unpleasant male characters. I don't see this as sexist per se, just caricatured to the point of being completely illogical and unbelievable. Which is a cartoonist's job.
Now I've acknowledged this as a problem though, I can work on it. And I can continue something I once loved, and hopefully enjoy it once more.
